Practice self-care and recharge your body, mind, and spirit with restorative yoga. Whether you routinely take power or gentle yoga classes, adding restorative can enhance your regular practice.
Restorative yoga uses many props to fully support the body in postures, allowing for a complete release of tension and fostering deep relaxation. It is different from gentle or yin yoga; there is no stretching or effort involved. In this class, you simply sit back and relax! The practice has been shown to have many health benefits including reduced heart rate and blood pressure, increased immunity, decreased insomnia, weight loss and reduction of stress.
No prior yoga experience is required for this workshop. All abilities are welcome. Bring an eye pillow or sleep mask, if you desire, and dress in layers.
